Where is Bree?????

Okay, so here we are....in a new neighborhood. We've been here 1 month and we are still trying to get settled. You know in every neighborhood there is a person or a few people who are just friendly and they will introduce themselves and say "welcome to the neighborhood." Well, that hasn't happened yet!

We haven't lived off a military base, out in the "real" world, for 6 years. The military community is a lot different. Strong sense of community, neighborhood, and very welcoming. There are people out and about walking dogs, families with strollers and bikes and just out in the yard visiting. In the military housing community there are people that will knock on your door and bring you rockin' awesome brownies just to say "hi, welcome to the community". And instant friendships are made. Just like Bree on Desperate Housewives. There is always "one" who has a recipe for every occasion and will gladly welcome the new people with a decorative basket with pretty ribbon that holds something warm and scrumptious just because.

So, here we are......in a new neighborhood, been here for 1 month....no welcome...no hello....no introduction.....no friendly wave as they drive off........nothing.......What I want to know is WHERE IS BREE AND WHERE ARE MY ROCKIN' AWESOME BROWNIES!!!!!
