How can this be that our cute little bundle of joy just turned 10?! She is growing up and she likes being a girl. Necessary items are earrings and a purse not the baby doll anymore. This is our last year living in crazy land and a lot of her friends will be moving also, so she asked if she could have a sleepover party.......long pause.........so I agreed to it. First I asked her to make a list of who she would like to invite and she could only invite 9 friends. I do have my limits to chaos! She wanted to have a spa party. Okay. So we did some research and found some good ideas. We created a menu and began the planning of the big birthday party spa sleepover.
Did I already say that I have a really good friend who said that she would sleep over with me and help with the 10 young ladies? Well, I do have a great friend! And I could not have made it through without her. So, at 6:00 pm, the girls began to arrive. We had snacks, punch, karoke, games, movies, and a spa treatment. The girls were great and we all had a fabulous time! They finally conked out about 2:30 am. I woke up at 3:00 am to turn off the TV and did a little clean up. They began waking up at 7:00 am!!!!! Are they crazy? I thought girls after a sleepover, slept late. It took me all weekend to recover. All in all a great time!
