The Bad News
Okay, yesterday I told you about our pack out and us waiting for our weight. Not good, at all. Our weight was 6,500 lbs. Holy CRAP! Did I mention that we are only allowed 5,500? And we still have about 500 more to ship. Guess who has to pay $95/100 lbs! Yep, you guessed it! What I will say it that we have a lot of really cool stuff to show for it, a new wood bar, a old trunk, stuff, stuff, fabric, fabric, fabric, fabric, scrapbook stuff.........................aaaahhhhhhhhhhh! Yes, I have some wonderful stuff!

We had one move interstate that someone underestimated ( us or them??? - noone has ever taken the blame) and all our stuff wouldn't fit on the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took another truck, a lot of $ and an extra 3 weeks to get the rest of our beloved belongings.
What a terrible feeling! At least our stuff fit onto one truck, but I'm sure the government will not deliver until they receive the money, but wait, they will just take the money from our check! That is okay, my hubby tried to make me feel better. He said, at least we have some great things to show for it. That is true. And with those great things, come great memories!

Are you settled into your new house?? We just moved in on Friday and have a little unpacking to do and putting stuff away. I hope all is well with your move. We thought we were overweight from our move and we weren't...maybe you weren't too?? Anyway, send me your new address! Miss you!
