Blue & Gold

This is about a month over due! LIFE...........right?! These pictures are from the Cub Scout Blue & Gold event. If you are not familiar with scouts it is a gathering of all of the dens. There are awards, games, cake walk, etc.

Here, Ryan is receiving an award for the best tasting cake. He was very excited! And, of course, I was proud! He and our neighbor, along with his son, did all of the baking and decorating, which is how it is supposed to be. BUT, there are MANY parents who take ownership of the cakes and do it ALL! AND it is very obvious. But they don't get called out for, which takes away from the fun of why the kids even participate. Really irritates me, can you tell!
