My Block

Okay, so one of the first things that I did when we arrived was go to the big membership drive for the spouses club. I went solo. I'm a big girl, I can do it. And because the Army gets smaller and smaller the longer you are in, you always run into people you've known at previous Army bases.

Well, one of the tables was the spouse quilt group. Since the fabulous owner of Reannalily Designs, (http://www.reannalilydesigns.com), taught me how to quilt, I thought, why not, I can join a quilt group! So I did and it was one of the best things that I have done. These ladies are awesome!

The most current project that we decided to do was a calendar quilt. I chose December, but decided against the tradition Christmas theme. I did a snowman. My block is below. And when you see my next post of the blocks that I received from these VERY talented ladies, mine is shameful!
