The Promotion

So, as my hubby would say, "The Army, in it's infinite wisdom, has decided to promote me." YEAH! On October 1st Glenn was promoted to LTC, one of those milestones that just leaves a smile on your face for a while.

All previous promotions, I have been there next to Glenn while he stood proud during the reading of the order to promote. This year was a little different. Since Glenn in in Iraq, me being by his side was a little difficult, so we did the next best thing. A video teleconference! Not only was I there, but Glenn's mom in New Jersey was also on VTC! Modern technology is awesome! It wasn't the same as being right there, but it made him being away a little easier.
