A WEEK!

Okay, time has really slipped through my fingers and I cannot believe that it is the middle of Februrary! Glenn got home January 10 and it has been not stop since then.....more blogs to follow to explain the chaos!

So.....................here we go! Glenn arrived on January 10 in the evening and let me tell you how cold it was! COLD! Glenn's mom, her friend, Doug and Glenn's brother made the trip to Fort Hood to welcome our soldier home!

It was so exciting! Because it was a Sunday night, there were friends and family that couldn't make it, but with modern technology we were able to bring everyone together. Our unit, 1CAV, set up a live feed so that friends and family could be part of the welcome home ceremony. It worked and it was AWESOME!!!!

I was at the ceremony and had friends calling me and we talked about those things that were happening as they were happening! So cool!!!!

Below is Glenn, his mom, her friend and his brother.

Here is Glenn's mom, friend and his brother. This was taken while we were waiting for the plane to arrive.

With the fantastic technology that we had, we watched the plane land and watched the soldiers come off off of the plane. Glenn is the third one. At the parade field there were two monitors that we could watch everything!!

And here is our family with big smiles and happy tears!

Here is the plane landing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is me and the kids, waiting patiently............................

Here is Sarah and Glenn's mom, Gina! Our sign got many smiles, looks and many people wanted to take photos of it!
