Moving Injury

Okay, so there I am, tired and just wanting to put on my PJs and chill. Let me preface by saying that our household goods are still not here.....okay, let me continue. Our bedframe is up in our room, anxiously waiting for the arrival of our very comfy pillow top mattress. So, I am putting my jammies on and loose my balance just a little. I didn't fall, but I just had to take a step back. Okay, what did I say was up in our room????

Yes, I stepped back onto the bedframe. The sides of the frame are "L" shaped to accomodate the mattress, metal "L" shaped. So, when I stepped back, I impaled my leg on the metal "L" shape! OUCH! I couldn't even speak. Glenn just said, "sit down", (on the air mattress). And since we just moved in, we didn't have any band aids, gauze, nothing. So, Glenn got creative with the bandage. The photo says it all!!!


Yes, it is toilet tissue with 2" painters tape! Love my man!!
