The Call!

Waiting for anything that you want is always the most difficult. The clock just stops, time stops! BUT Sunday night at 11:00 PM The Call came in! Communication from my honey! The time difference is about 9 hours ahead of Central Standard Time, so it was about 8:00 AM there.

He sounded really good and rested. They have a lot of down time right now just in-processing, but down time is good, so they can get rested and ready to rock!

It was great to hear his voice. We miss him. So, until the next CALL!

Hi Leigh

I came over from Dawn's blog. My husband is in the Army and has been overseas 5 times, but it was before I met him, so although I have no idea what your going through and even though I don't know you, I wanted to tell you that I'm praying for your husband's safe return.

WOW! Five times! How long has your husband been in the Army? Thank you for your thoughts!

Hi! I am not a military wife but my husband of almost 4 years was in the navy for 13 years. He would be on world cruises for months and months at a time. I had just a taste of what it must feel like to have your spouse gone like this when he was overseas last year for a few months. I missed him so much. Anyway, even though I don't know what you are going thru exactly, you and your hubby are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi I came over here from Dawn's blog as well. What a tough time for you and your family - I hope everything goes well and that you are reunited quickly.

Oh, Darling Leigh. I am so sorry that you have to go thru this separation. When Dawn was 6 months old, her daddy went to Thailand for a year. I think it is harder with older children your kids ages. You can come and visit us anytime. Chicago is fun in the spring. Much love to you and your beautiful kids. Grandma-A=Go Go.
