WOW! What a productive Saturday. You will never believe what we started today! Painting our deck. Shortly after we moved in, we added a deck to the back, which looked awesome, but it looked a little drab. But with so many stains to choose from, it was difficult to choose. So we opted for something that would compliment the house and existing back porch instead of the tradition brown stain.
Before painting anything you must clean it. I was sore after doing that! Now, my hubby really wanted to help, but he is still recovering from surgery. So he sat and kept me company! Once the deck was washed, rinsed AND dried, I began the color transformation! It is going to look so awesome!
I did take a before picture, but I am not going to post the before until I have the after! I am hoping to finish at least one coat tomorrow. What I am hoping for is to only have to do one coat and not two!
Then we installed new towel bars, hooks and toilet paper holder in one of the bathrooms......
.....AND I started to paint my daughter's room............again! It is a fantastic green color! More photos to come!
So tonight we FALL back in time! Extra hour of daylight.......YIPPEE!!! Hopefully I can get all of my painting done tomorrow! I hope I am not too sore when I wake up.
