Fall Musical

The big third grade fall music production! My little man is right in front of the American flag. He had fun, even though he probably would not say that. They sang about 4 songs and did a skit all about the TAKS tests coming up. In Texas, they have standardized testing in math, reading and this year, science. If you don't pass any portion of the test, you don't move on to the next grade! No pressure, right?! I'm stressed about the tests already. So, do the teachers teach to the test or do they just teach to the grade? The school denies teaching to the test, but it sure is emphasized all year!
