First, I am in a quilt group and the group got together and decided to do an exchange in a Christmas theme. I am very new at this, but I was anxious and excited to be around people! All of the ladies are so nice and helpful and very welcoming. Yeah, it's an Army thing! Sorry my Air Force Ya-Yas!
So, tomorrow we get together and exchange our blocks. The fabric line was chosen, so we had could pick any fabrics and do any block design that we wanted to! Which sometimes makes it hard; so many choices! Anyway, I finished my blocks, we had to do 12. These ladies are very talented, I hope that mine will be okay!
I will take a picture of all of the blocks that I received! Very excited. You can look at my block from the post dated 1/13 "Finished Block".

I'm sure they'll be impressed!!!
I haven't seen a picture of the exchange blocks yet???? Know they had to be fun.
I cannot wait to see them!
I have no doubt you fit in perfectly with these talented ladies!

Such praise! Thank you! Thank you!
Wow, you sure jumped right into this with a stunning block. I love block swaps and have the piles from about 4 still sitting waiting to be a quilt. But my favorite one (and its done and quilted too) is a Christmas quilt with blocks we made in the late 90's. I love getting it out every year and thinking of everyone and how much fun we had. You'll love this quilt and I look forward to seeing all the blocks.
