Most Excellent VISIT

I cannot believe that a week has already gone by! Last week a very good friend of mine came to visit from Kansas City. How she got here was from her fantastic hubby who put an airline voucher in her Christmas stocking! Love him!

Her flight here was very long and she got stuck in Memphis and had to spend the night, BUT finally on Thursday she arrived in Austin and we went at it fast and furious! Thursday was just some local boring stuff, but Friday we spent the day in Austin at Archiver's (a fabulous scrapbook store) and IKEA! Then had a great lunch at Chuy's! Chuy's is a local (Texas) chain that is quickly growing.

We stayed up way too late on Friday night at my neighbor's house; we had a BBQ. The last thing I said to her before we went over was, "we won't stay very late." But we were just having such a good time! Anyway, the kids had to be at the soccer field at 8:00 AM!!!!! Did I mention that we went to bed at 12:30 AM!!? The kids and I went to soccer and Stacey slept in. It was a very busy day. We tried to go to an event on post, but we were just too tired! So, we decided to go to the Daiquiri Express, go home, put on PJs and watch a movie! It was a great night!

We slept in on Sunday and just messed around with our scrapbook stuff. The time really went by too fast. And can you believe that I, Queen of Picture Taking, didn't take any photos!!?? I think that Stacey got one. We were too busy!
